The Petroleum Engineering Program at USC is interested in hiring a part-time lecturer to teach its graduate course PTE 587: Smart Completions, Oilfield Sensors and Sensor Technology during the Spring semester, starting January 2017. The course includes topics related to design of smart wells, maximum contact wells, multi laterals, downhole sensing and control, and use of machine learning tools and robotics for production optimization and automation.
