| Graduate Student Positions (Research Assistantships)
One of the primary functions of the Composites Center is the training of graduate students. To accomplish this task, research assistantships are offered to the most qualified student applicants, allowing students to pursue their graduate degrees with financial support. The Center encourages graduate students who are interested in research positions to apply for admission to the Graduate School. Applicants must apply to the academic program in which they are interested (Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Civil Engineering (these should be links to the dept websites)). Interested students may also send their résumé electronically to the Center director. ( Dr. Steven Nutt ) Specific Research Projects are described elsewhere at this site. |
| Undergraduate Assistants
Undergraduate research assistantships are available during the academic year (part-time) and summer (full time) to qualified individuals. In addition, summer internships are available with local companies. See also |
