Chevron Oronite Technology Group, a Chevron Company has openings for Process Research Engineer/Process Development Engineer.

Basic Job Description:
Oronite is currently seeking chemical engineers to design and optimize chemical processes used in the manufacturing of petroleum and fuel additives. Primary responsibilities will include the scale-up of organic reactions from laboratory to pilot-plant and commercial plants. Principally the scale-up operations are focused toward batch reactions, though some development and/or design of continuous processes may berequired.

Other duties may include:
• In-depth kinetics analysis
• Literature and patent studies
• Writing comprehensive technical reports
• Design, organization and follow-through of plant trials
• Process optimization/process control


Qualifications:
Ph.D.  M.S.  B.S.  in Chemical Engineering w/ experiences.
