Last week, the USC Mork Family Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science (MFD) hosted the American Ceramic Society (ACerS) Southern California Section meeting and officer elections, along with a graduate student poster session showcasing ceramics and materials research at USC. The event provided a forum for students, faculty, and industry professionals to exchange research, foster collaboration, and strengthen connections within the Southern California materials community.
USC faculty participants included Professors Packard, Nutt, and Shao. Graduate student presenters represented the departments of Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemistry, highlighting the breadth of interdisciplinary research in ceramics and advanced materials at USC.
